Assalamualaikum. Hi.

Before I get really busy with my new semester, here's probably the last post before the long hiatus, just maybe. It's only the first week and I'm shivering all over my body. Not that it's cold here (it's very hot outside bcs of the haze, just so you know), but the thought of having 8 subjects gives me chill. Idk what to expect (per usual). No, what concerns me the most is that as you elevate to another semester, the group assignment/work/presentations also increases. Believe me, I don't hate group work unless I'm working with assholes and sometimes I had to. One of the cons here when working in a group of student especially when we have different schedule is that, it's hard to do a group meeting. Blablabla blablabla.

Let's just ditch that.

Okay so, I live in a different hostel now. KTDI was really sucks btw. The hostel I currently live in might be a little bit far if we have to go to the lab but I'm quite satisfied. There's lift, the toilet is super clean, and the most important thing is, it's so quiet here. I like it.

Oh yes, one other thing. most of my friends are slowly having a car here. Blergh. I want one but I can't. My father can't afford any and neither do I. If I buy a NEW car, let say the cheapest one, I might survive, but I will not have any savings once I graduated and I dont want that. Tapi most of them, they have extra car at their house and some of them, their parents have enough money to buy them one. So lucky.

I'm not screwed if I don't have any transportation of my own but a car will make things easier for me in UTM. Dahlah semua benda dalam ni jauh. You will really stuck in your room. Boring. And yes, I am complaining. Kadang-kadang je. Bukan selalu. Hm :(

So people, please pray for my well-being and my studies here. I really don't wanna flunk. Not this semester and not the upcoming semesters. Thank you.

Homesick.

Assalamualaikum. Hi.

So.. It's already Thursday haha what even. I'm going back to Skudai tomorrow, people.

I guess everyone already knew about what happened at orientation week in UTM. Looking back at my time, we don't have that kind of 'approach' (eventhough I didn't attend most of it). To be frank, I don't approve it either. The facilitator may have come out with another idea to capture the newcomers' attention.

Let me say this, it's not an easy task to handle an event, especially a big one. I know how hard it is to actually come out with an overall idea to conduct a programme. Organizing the tentative alone is quite difficult. Plus, I was not even a Project Manager. Most of the time, I was the one who handled the letters, invitation, and some other time I managed the budget. Having a strict supervisor makes thing worse (but better, eventually).

Learning the cheers at event like this may be annoying, but imo these people don't need to apply that kind of spellings. The cheers are okay, the spelling - not so much. To the new kid who causes this to be viral, if you don't like what they're doing or what you're seeing, you can just leave or don't come at all. You have options. I didn't like the way they 'tied' us up back then, that was why I didn't join the orientation week.

I don't agree with any of what's happening. Im not on anyone's side right here but then again, everybody makes mistake. By the time you start your classes, these would be forgotten. Believe me because there are a lot of other important things we need to take care of.

If you're a mind of an upper class student, you wouldnt waste your effing time complaining on this matter and bringing it up because a great mind can never be distracted.

Just saying.
