#73 New Phase

Hi.

Now I can finally describe my life right now just like my blog title. 360 degree. My life has changed since I've become a wife. It's harder than I imagine to get yourself used to the new environment and new responsibilities. And it's tough, I must say for the first few months, it was not a smooth sailing. It still is. At least, for me. You first entered into marriage life thinking all the honeymoon phase and how romantic it would be for you and your partner. This is real life, and it's not like that all the time.

Talking to the elders, that's how marriage works. Sometimes there's rainbows and then the other time it's like walking on a cloud 9. So many things can happen, all I can do - or we can do - is to keep our composure, all the time. Thats been said, I'm not a composed person so it's hell of a journey for me AND it's not even a year yet haha. I love my husband. I love our relationship even more even if it's not a perfect one

Anyway...

I just entered my second trimester, Alhamdulillah. Yep, there's a bun in the oven. Still new but since there's not many people read my blog, Im comfortable letting out the news here. I think I'm gonna wait a little longer to let more people notice that I'm pregnant bcs there are still risks. Pray for our well-being. P/S: I had a bad morning sickness.

I think that's it for the update? I easily get tired nowadays. Uh.

#72 Hustling

Assalamualaikum. Hi.

Remember I said 2018's gonna be hectic? Well, I'm not wrong. As I much as I want to enjoy this whole thing, it worn me out a little bit, I'm not gonna lie.

Anyway, I'm engaged since February this year and August marks the first anniversary of me, working. Gosh, what a turbulence months. A fatal accident happened at site, one of my colleagues passed away because of it, leaving 3 children and his wife behind. The aftermath is still getting us emotionally and physically impaired. I know I do. Apart from it, I'm preparing for my wedding, which is also something dreadful. How to juggle between your personal and working life? I-don't-even-have-a-clue-honestly.

I'm not gonna talk about my job because to be frank, I'm not into it at the moment.

How is it that I just knew this guy for a month and then we decided to take our relationship to the next step. We didn't start off as friends, we just hit it off, I'm not kidding.

9 Oct 17            - I met him. Also my first day working at the same place as him.
25 Oct 17          - We started texting.
Mid November - He said he wanted more than just a couple, so he asked to meet my parents.
10 Dec 17         - He met Ibu and Ayah.
Mid December  - I met his family and extended family members.
17 Feb 18          - We got engaged, Alhamdulillah.

InsyaAllah in August we're gonna tie the knot.

I still remember in 2016, I thought to myself over and over again #misi2tahun. Then 2 years later, here I am haha. Preparing for a wedding is a hassle but you're gotta hustle through it. Pray for me.

#71 Highlights

Hi,

It's new year's eve. I'm beginning to hear fireworks. What a year 2017 has been. A year where I envision myself winning in life. Not really but I'd like to think that I think that way. I feel like I want to highlight some of things that happened to me in 2017. Let's get into it, shall we...

Kyoto, Japan.
To be honest, this is the longest and the farthest I've been away from Malaysia. And also the very first time I experience winter, it was amazing. Wait, no. JAPAN IS AMAZING! I'd like to go there again someday if Allah wills.

BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering.
One of the biggest milestones in my life by far. I am forever grateful I was given the chance to continue my degree and finish it. It was not a smooth sailing but in the end, I am satisfied, I am content.

Engineer? Seriously?
An engineer. At MRT project. Are you kidding me? A lot of people have been telling me that I was lucky I got involve in mega project like this and I didnt ask for it. It was given to me. And to top it off, I am the only woman (out of 25 guys) in Launching Department. Damn. I would like to thank my 21-year-old self for struggling her ass that time finding a good scholarship with working bond and finally landed herself with IJM Scholarship and look where I am right now. Im gonna cry.

Future Husband
I'm gonna laugh at myself for worrying too much about finding love. I still remember I talked to few of my friends about my #misi2tahun back in 2016. It was about targeting that at least I'll find myself a guy whose possesses husband material in two years time. I'm entering 2018 and about to realizing the mission, insyaAllah. I met him when I started working at MRT and to be frank, I didn't think it would be this fast. But the first time I saw him, I felt something different, something I never felt before and I knew at that moment I need to have him. InsyaAllah, doakan yang baik-baik.

Little Things
- First paycheck
- Great colleagues/teammates
- Understandable parents
- Supportive siblings and friends
- Gaining weight accordingly

I know 2018 will be hectic but I do hope the outcome will be great. InsyaAllah, amin.
