Assalamualaikum. Hi.

So, most of people nowadays are so into travelling, backpacking, those lasak activities, and other 'cool and hipster' stuff right now. In all honesty, I don't mind it, really. The thing that bugs me the most is that the fact when some of these people thought when people like me didn't participate in those stuff, all they think about was "...you're not living your life", "..,get your ass off", "...you're so not cool", and some just stared at me like I was the most wanted criminal of all time.

DUDE. GET YOUR ASS OFF YOUR HEAD, IT'S NOT A HAT.

For some of you who might not know some things about me, I did all of that earlier that y'all (just some of them, but really I don't brag about it before). It's just that, I just love it even more doing those stuff with my family. We went camping like almost once a month, kayaking in the middle of the sea, went for a hike at Gunung Ledang (just a brief of time. Didn't go all the way up). I went wall climbing once and it was horrible but I love it haha. Flying fox, got dumped in the mud, and all of that. I did those. Those moments are great. It changes now.

I was living my life, and still am. Y'all need to understand one thing - we all have different priorities in our lives. My ultimate ones at the moment are my parents and my studies. You gotta admit that your parents are getting old, their children are not at home, and they're getting lonely. But of course, who doesnt want to go jalan-jalan outside your own country, kan? But let's face it. There's nothing wrong if I don't go travelling and doing those awesome activities blabla. THERE'S NOTHING WRONG, REALLY. My family is my home. My family is where I can travel anywhere even when I'm home. Seeing their smiles because they get to see me is my world.

I do get jealous when other people experience stuff I like to do. Yang lasak ones la. Because deep inside, I'm a boy. Haha. But, like I said, other matters weigh more than before and go all the way up in my hierarchy of life right now.

Of course, it's a nice feeling to see people enjoy themselves. It gets me inspired. But just dont belittle other people who dont do things like you did. Our goals are different. Our priorities are different. I've set my own terms with what Im gonna do with my life and when is what.

Some of you might not concur with what I'm saying, but let's just agree to disagree.

Assalamualaikum. Hi.

I just wanted to write something up since I've broke down a few times now. Every thing is tiring and it's not even mid semester break yet. Urgh where to begin?

I haven't had any good rest since the third week and now it's week 8 or something. From lab reports to weekly IDP meeting and poster presentation to a bunch of assignments to a couple of case studies. And all of them are group works. One bad thing I think about having a group work is that you have to consider your groupmates' time and less about yours which I don't like that so much. I feel empowered if I have the rights of my own time and schedule. But let's be realistic-in real world, you don't get to do that very often unless you're some kind of a rich ass. Because let's face it, rich people can do anything and can get away with anything if they want to.

All these shits are overwhelming. I can die from fatigue. I am seriously exhausted and I can't rest and I feel like if I sleep, I'll be wasting my time. Lol. We have 3 case studies which are not even 20% done. Another lab reports, IDP report and upcoming group interview for IDP. Last week was a chaos. I can't even describe in details. Lecturers... please. I know you people are busy, but we are occupied too. Yes, I admit that being a lecturer is not just teaching students. You have other stuff as well, I know. But can't we just acknowledge that your students here have 7 subjects this semester? Hm.

And um,

Bad news, people. My cat, Kiki is dead. He was so far my favourite cat/kitten of all time. I wish I was beside him when he's gone. Instead, I'm here. In JB. Far from home. I cried, okay. I can't handle losing 2 cats in less than 2 months.

I just can't wait to go home next week. Allah, please please please please ease my journey this semester. Grant me good/excellent/orwhateverthatmakesmehappy grades. Aamiin.

I need to continue my work. Bye :).

Assalamualaikum. Hi.

Before I get really busy with my new semester, here's probably the last post before the long hiatus, just maybe. It's only the first week and I'm shivering all over my body. Not that it's cold here (it's very hot outside bcs of the haze, just so you know), but the thought of having 8 subjects gives me chill. Idk what to expect (per usual). No, what concerns me the most is that as you elevate to another semester, the group assignment/work/presentations also increases. Believe me, I don't hate group work unless I'm working with assholes and sometimes I had to. One of the cons here when working in a group of student especially when we have different schedule is that, it's hard to do a group meeting. Blablabla blablabla.

Let's just ditch that.

Okay so, I live in a different hostel now. KTDI was really sucks btw. The hostel I currently live in might be a little bit far if we have to go to the lab but I'm quite satisfied. There's lift, the toilet is super clean, and the most important thing is, it's so quiet here. I like it.

Oh yes, one other thing. most of my friends are slowly having a car here. Blergh. I want one but I can't. My father can't afford any and neither do I. If I buy a NEW car, let say the cheapest one, I might survive, but I will not have any savings once I graduated and I dont want that. Tapi most of them, they have extra car at their house and some of them, their parents have enough money to buy them one. So lucky.

I'm not screwed if I don't have any transportation of my own but a car will make things easier for me in UTM. Dahlah semua benda dalam ni jauh. You will really stuck in your room. Boring. And yes, I am complaining. Kadang-kadang je. Bukan selalu. Hm :(

So people, please pray for my well-being and my studies here. I really don't wanna flunk. Not this semester and not the upcoming semesters. Thank you.

Homesick.

Assalamualaikum. Hi.

So.. It's already Thursday haha what even. I'm going back to Skudai tomorrow, people.

I guess everyone already knew about what happened at orientation week in UTM. Looking back at my time, we don't have that kind of 'approach' (eventhough I didn't attend most of it). To be frank, I don't approve it either. The facilitator may have come out with another idea to capture the newcomers' attention.

Let me say this, it's not an easy task to handle an event, especially a big one. I know how hard it is to actually come out with an overall idea to conduct a programme. Organizing the tentative alone is quite difficult. Plus, I was not even a Project Manager. Most of the time, I was the one who handled the letters, invitation, and some other time I managed the budget. Having a strict supervisor makes thing worse (but better, eventually).

Learning the cheers at event like this may be annoying, but imo these people don't need to apply that kind of spellings. The cheers are okay, the spelling - not so much. To the new kid who causes this to be viral, if you don't like what they're doing or what you're seeing, you can just leave or don't come at all. You have options. I didn't like the way they 'tied' us up back then, that was why I didn't join the orientation week.

I don't agree with any of what's happening. Im not on anyone's side right here but then again, everybody makes mistake. By the time you start your classes, these would be forgotten. Believe me because there are a lot of other important things we need to take care of.

If you're a mind of an upper class student, you wouldnt waste your effing time complaining on this matter and bringing it up because a great mind can never be distracted.

Just saying.

Assalamualaikum. Hi.

Wanting to type in point form, so here it goes.

1. My kitten, Labu, just died this morning. We dont know why. For the past few days he seemed very off and passive, and last night, he wasnt able to walk nor get on his feet. He just collapsed. I slept with Labu last night til his last breath. I woke up around 2.22 AM and he's already gone...

2. We moved out from the apartment (which we have lived since 2000) and renting a double-storey house in the same area. Last night was our first night here. I kinda miss the apartment. Apartment ada balcony. Seronok ok. You get to feel the *fresh* air without going outside and being hit by a car. I guess the cats are missing it too. Living here, nak naik tidur pun kena naik tangga. Luls.

I've never been living dalam rumah teres in my entire life. This is the first time (rumah kampung lain cerita).

3. My timetable for next semester is a baggage. A heavy one.

4.Less than a week before I leave Cheras. Back to Skudaizzz. Rasa berat hati sangat.

5. My sister finally arrived in San Bruno, California for her studies. Two years at Skyline College for Degree in Geology. Lagi dua tahun tak tahu. Yknow, my family members are all over the world. Abang in New Zealand, lil sis in States, kitorang in Malaysia(lol). Kinda hard actually when one is 4 hours ahead and the other one is 15 hours behind hahaha.

My life at the moment is a bit hectic. Huhu penat.

Assalamualaikum. Hi.

I know some people who keep telling other people how much effort they put into their lives to achieve their goals and listing down what are they doing, how they're gonna do with their future. I don't mind that, really. I also did that sometimes because I know it feels good to just (at least) tell yourself about your aims.

It annoys me IF they downgraded other people and get mad at them who don't 'seem' to have any life goals. If we talk about how much we adore celebrities, tv shows, or how some of our friends settled down early, that doesn't mean we didnt have any thoughts about our future. Don't you think if you tell people too much about your ambitions and how your life is going to be amazing, it would be embarrassing if you fail? I'm not saying it's wrong but be considerate and everything has its limit.

It's the same concept you put into your relationship with your significant other. You don't want it to be too public, do you? There are differences between privacy and secrecy.

I have my own life goals. I bet everyone does. I think I'm more comfortable if I don't talk about it too often. I may have crossed the line out of my knowledge, but you get my point.

You tell people just to let them know and the rest you keep it to yourself and your closed ones.

Peace yo. Hahahahaha wtf.

Assalamualaikum.

I've never been in love (so hard) ever since I tried pavlova for the first time in early 2014. The lightness and sweetness of the dessert really (really really really) caught my attention and I am unable to move on from that taste, lol. I know I can try making one, but since we have no oven in our home, I'm more that glad to waste my money on pavlovas.

So one day, after my parents and I attended a wedding at Putrajaya, I insisted them to find me a pavlova nearby. Haha. We ended up found one bakery shop - BreadTime - in Bangi. Good Lord the pavlova was damn awesome, it melts in your mouth! They sell it RM40+ for one whole and RM7/slice. Walaupun Bangi dengan rumah I tak adalah jauh mana, it's quite hard for me to borrow a car and go there beli pavlovas blabla so I searched somewhere yang dekat dengan rumah that sells them. Long story short, I found an online bakery shop (@thechemistbaker) and it turned out, the owner's house satu taman je dengan rumah kitaaaaaaaa! Oh and her sister is my friend.

Memang tak tunggu lama, beli terus their mini pavlova. Worth every penny I tell you. The sweetness is just enough, the base is not too fragile, and I absolutely adore their generosity. Banyak buah! If I knew it would be THAT good, I would by more. I don't know why Im so obsessed with pavlovas. Maybe they are so light and the fruits on top added freshness to the lovely dessert and also those sour fruits balance off the sweetness of the cream. Hehe.

NAK LAGI. I IZ WANTZ MOREZZZZ

P/s: I cooked steamed barramundi for dinner yesterday. The whole family seemed enjoying it. Alhamdulillah, another achievement unlocked!

Assalamualaikum. Hi.

Alhamdulillah, last semester's result finally out last week. Okaylah, better than the previous semester. So, I usually put out my registration slip for the upcoming hell, so here it goes;

Demboi. I seriously don't know what to expect 'cause when I expect too much, I'd end up DEAD. When I least expected something, things get pretty good and that makes me expect too much in the future lol. The best thing to do right now would be - work hard, work smart, pray on time, pray a lot, and pray for the best. Lelelelel. I mean, I'm not gonna make myself an easy target to flunk. I'm way too precious to not be successful haha(confidence is the key).

You see, I'm a cat and I'm obviously curious. I stalk people all day errday when I'm home. Having said that, since it's less than a month left before new hell starts, I am super busy moving out from the current house, packing nak balik SkuDIE, and preparing for my sister cz demmit she's leaving for USA - I'm exhausteddddddd.

I don't know what's my point. What I know is, I don't wanna go back to Johor. GO FIGURE.

Assalamualaikum. Hi.

Today I was bored. I didn't know what to do. All the kittens were doing their own stuffs. I thought of reorganized my books but nah. So I decided to Google all my friends' names whom I used to be so closed with and I found a blog belongs to one of them. It really brings back all the memories we all had during highschool right before each of us went apart for boarding school.

And then I remembered something. Okay so, after PMR I got an offer to go to SBPI Rawang. For some childish reasons, I declined the offer and was hoping to get into sekolah teknik. Turned out, I didn't. I was bumped. So, buat rayuan and got into TIKL for second intake.

The thing is, when I received the offer letter, I had actually 3 days left to register (and of course lah berhenti dari SMKBTHO, ambil surat berhenti sekolah, and beli barang whatnot). It was chaos. The fact that I was sooooooo rushed, I tak sempat say goodbye to my friends who were staying (most of them dah pindah sekolah already) and to my teachers too. Haha and they were like, why I'm not going to school for so long. To be honest, I was too busy settling the documents, the thought to bid farewell didn't come across my mind.

So, thank God la my mother is a school teacher in SMKBTHO. It was her who told everyone else I moved to other school. So sorry guys.

It's been 5 years since I left school and now I'm doing my degree. Naik sem nanti dah 3rd year blerghjkdsfhlsihisfj how time flies. Ayah once said, "Qilah kalau nak kahwin, Ayah nikahkan je." Lol not feeling it. I have so many personal goals I need to achieve before settling down. And believe me, I will. InsyaAllah.

Assalamualaikum.

Hi. So, I woke up today with a heavy heart. I was crying and feeling lost. Not that something happened. It's just one of those days where you overthinking of something like someone's death - your parents' death to be precised.

What if one of them no longer lived? Or worse, Allah took both of them too soon and at the same time. Frankly speaking, I freaking don't know what to do. My siblings are all over the place. The eldest, my brother, is currently not in the country, and my little sister is at the South of Peninsula. Just the youngest stays with the parents. Most of my really closed relatives live in Kedah and Melaka. Just a few whom I rarely speak to live nearby (Putrajaya, Balakong, Klang).

Since my brother is not here, I'm basically taking over my brother's place by being the eldest right now. And the thought of that makes my whole body shiver. Dude, I seriously will not know what I'll be doing if anything unfortunate happens to my family.

Kita minta, Allah panjangkanlah jodoh orang tua kita. I'm not ready for any major loss. Ameen.

SubhanAllah. This just took my breath away. Goosebumps.

Assalamualaikum. So, I just thought of showing you guys the video cz it's worth watching yalls. No lie. If we're all in this together, wow man, this world's gonna be better in all sense.

By the way, I'm back in town - on my semester break for 2 months or so. And nope, I'm not happy at all staying in Skudai. I mean like... what the hell... I'm all alone dude. Rasa nak ketuk kepala sorang-sorang. (Huhuhuhuhuhu). And nope, I don't think I'm gonna be ready for next semester. Ergh.

Negativity aside, tahun ni berpuasa (and berbuka puasa di rumah). Unlike last year, eventhough I'm at home, but Im working and my shift was (always) from 5.30-10.30pm. So yeah, I was breaking my fast alone at the food court. Sedih k! So this year, dapat berbuka puasa dekat rumah for the whole holy month! Haven't been able to do so since 2009. Ok tu je.

Salam Ramadhan, everyone. #blessed.

Hi.

I have friends here and people might see me have a lot of them. But the truth is, I don't think I can call them really true friends. I feel empty and I feel lonely all the time. See, mata pun dah bergenang as I'm typing this. I hate everything here. One thing that makes me keep going is the urge to keep studying to ease myself in the future.

I think this happens because my friends have their own friends. You know what I'm saying. I am not my friends' priority or not even in their lists to do something together. It hurts me although it means nothing to them. This is why everything here sucks like hell. It was not even a problem when I was studying in KL. I can go home whenever I want. I feel whole when I'm home especially with my cats.

And I feel way way way way wayyy more fragile right here right now.

Although I have said before that school was sucks, that was probably because of the break-up (HA HA HA HA yes I was that immature bij). But seriously, school is where I have friends whom I can pour my heart out at. Especially in TIKL.

I mean, not that my friends here are bad, it's just... You know when you make friends with anyone but you can't just make it up to their circle of close friends who they can hangout with. Yeah just like that.

Malulah menangis macam ni bila roommate ada dalam bilik.

Last post before balik Skudai.

Just got back from IOI Mall Putrajaya and bumped into Shasha with her cousins and her boyfriend - and trust me, you wouldn't want to go there during public holiday. Ramai sangat orang, iRimas. Ayah brought us to HomePro. If Ibu spend hours at any clothing stores, Ayah will be like a hamster on the wheel at HomePro - if that makes any sense or whatsoever.

And finally dah ganti bateri jam tangan. I feel complete! I am naked no more *cries happily*. So, this is my last day here in Cheras, esok balik rumah Seremban and the day after tomorrow dah kena balik Skudai. I'm definitely not ready for next semester.

Asdfghjkl.

Let's just hope and strive for the best (since study week nanti two days je............)

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I take a look at registration slip for our next semester. Last semester was tough enough and it can't get any better. Some of the subjects above are exactly the same during diploma and I have no clue why we have to take them again. For the Engineering Lab, kalau semua experiments are the same as during diploma, copy the reports from the previous ones je la, lol.

I'm freaking out. Reread the scholarship agreement doesn't make things any better. It almost like I got squirrel in my pants (quoting Candace from Phineas & Ferb - And yes I still watch cartoons). So, I was carried away in my mind and I was thinking what if.... What if I didn't enroll in engineering? I mean, I have so many options of disciplines back then besides engineering. Arts & Design, Photography, Culinary, and Architecture. Rasanya sebab mostly we have to go through interview session and I hate that - kot la.

Risau risau risau risau risau risau risau risau risau risau risau. Hydraulics alone is one hell of difficult subject and then apparently the universe is not satisfied enough with that, it sends Eng. Maths, Highway Engineering and Water Treatment to torture us. I have CGPA limit to follow to! Looks like I really need to restrain myself from failing.

Bitches gonna bitch, potatoes gonna potate, student gonna studate-lol-NO-study. Most importantly, I'm gonna sleep all day long and waking up a millionaire.

If I don't get my shit together in the upcoming semester, I'm gonna throw up and flush myself down the toilet.

Assalamualaikum. Hi.

I've been told that I'm a multitasker. Not that I deny it but most of the time, I'm not - particularly when I'm driving. Yes I can watch movies while I study, replying text messages while I cook but seriously not when I'm on the road.

The thing is, driving itself has a lot of things to do at the same time! And I'm in a car. And the car is moving and I have to be aware of the traffic, steady eye-hand coordination and whatnot. I am definitely not good at this. When I drive, I drive. When I drive, other people have to change the radio station for me. Other people have to turn on/off the aircond for me. Lowering down the window alone takes a hell lot of attention from me. I don't make a conversation while I drive otherwise I will miss an intersection. Answering phone calls? Hell no. DISTRACTIONS.

Almost hit a parked school bus because I was reading text messages.
I was on the right lane and at the same time I was on the phone and I didn't notice there was something on the road and I immediately changed lane without looking at the side mirror and got honked by a couple of cars.. Yeah I know..
Almost hit the back of a car sebab busy kira duit. RM 3 je. K.
I missed an intersection because I was talking with my friends.
I missed several u-turns because I was mad.

And a lot more. But thank God that 'almost' didn't turn into an accident. That's why when I drove back home from Skudai, I didn't talk a bit with my family. Just 'yes', 'no' and nodding and shaking my head. I'm sorry if my travel partner finds me very boring to travel with (if I drive). Haha. But one thing I realize I'm improving is that, saya dah tak bawa kereta laju membuta tuli dah because when I go fast, I don't know how to slow down. I used to drive 160km/h top but now I'm not anymore. Tobat mak nak. Tak mau dah.

Tengah cuti semester. Tak nak tahu result. Huhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhu.

While everyone else have 2-3 more papers left, I have 5. Happy New Year everyone. Year 2014 was not so smooth for me. I predicted that as I mentioned that in my #10 post here. Quoting, "I get the feeling that the worse things have yet to come. And I do think that this year's routes in almost anything (especially when it is emotionally involved) are gonna be very bumpy". DUDE, I DIDN'T KNOW I WAS SO RIGHT. Let's see what happened to me throughout 2014.

Good things:
  1. I finished my diploma years at UTMKL
  2. Had my very first job ever at confectionery store. Hated everyone there haha.
  3. Manage to continue my degree at UTM Skudai.
  4. Convocation Day!
  5. Had ourselves a new home in Seremban.
  6. I was chosen as one of the IJM Scholars.
  7. It has been 2 years for both of us :)
  8. Best Raya so far with the loved ones.

Bad things:
  1. .......
Nah, not gonna say anything. It hurts me so bad to think of it, let alone listing them down. Intending to let them stay behind and moving on with my life walaupun macam susah je but I'll try.

Happy New Year, guys. May 2015 will be filled with blessings from Him. And to you, I hope we can work this out. I may seem a little bit awkward with things we used to do, but fret not, I'm pretty sure it's temporary. See you soon :).
